- Shaman Shadows
I am continually drawn to this location and subject matter. This is iconic imagery that touches the deepest parts of the human psyche. These shaman, though Native American, represent something ancient and common to all humanity.
We have met and spent time with the artist, Bill Worrell, from Texas.
What does this image conjure for you? Does it touch you in any meaningful way, even if you can’t quite articulate what that is? Please share your comments by clicking on the Comment link just above and to the right of the image.

This image brings out my inner wild woman, makes me want to drum and listen to shamanic music. Although this particular picture is native american I feel all the indigenous cultures of the world share this deep connection with a kinder, gentler, more deeply connected to each other world with ritual, symbols and connection to the earth.

I can understand why this image of the shaman sculpture and shadows would bring out your inner wild woman, Dianne! Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and feelings.

First of all I’m so fascinated with shadows in my conscious mind. It touches down deeply within during this fascination. I feel a peace with shadows in form of art.
After that, just looking at the artwork…it conjures up the light and dark side mostly in my dreams. The spirit world is forever visiting me when I close my eyes.
