This is a special reply to Edna's comment above in which she expresses concern about our reference to "New Thought and Science of Mind" being misunderstood or misinterpreted by our European friends.

In response to our request for clarification from Edna, she shared with us her concern that Science of Mind could be confused with Scientology.

We have added some clarifying remarks to the post, which I am repeating below.

Science of Mind is the title of the philosophical text written by Ernest Holmes, the founder of Religious Science, in the 1920's..

The New Thought movement emerged in the United States in New England in the mid-19th century and is generally attributed to Phineas Quimby. Although, there is also a case to be made for New Thought being associated with the Transcendentalist movement which originated in Europe and was embraced by Ralph Waldo Emerson, the most prominent of American Transcendentalists.

Scientology was founded by Elron Hubbard, a retired American Naval officer in the 1950's.

We hope this will clarify any misunderstandings or misinterpretations.

Thank you all so much for your wonderfully supportive and encouraging comments! We are so pleasantly surprised at the effect our story seems to be having on so many of you.

Your comments mean a lot to both of us. And, we have more to come - this isn't anywhere near the end of the story!

Thanks for sharing - it is wonderful to see the pictures too.

I have always enjoyed your posts, your beautiful photos and find your relationship tips especially useful. Just so as you are aware tho;, while many peopel are spiritual and some are religious, references such "New Thought church, Science of Mind International" can be really off-putting for very many Europeans due to the general repututaion surrounding that whole area. I don;t mean that as a criticism but wanted to mention it as you might not be aware of it.

Thank you for giving me the blessing of knowing both of you in this personal way. From the first connection with your website I had a deep intuitive trust that you all lived what you taught. Your blog posts confirm this, and at the same time inspire and model how to walk the path to being of service to the Light.
Thank you so much.
