Dragon's Lair

Calla Lily
This image was made with a Polaroid SX-70 camera which was popular in the 1970s. For awhile in the ’90s I worked extensively with this camera and its unique film which could be manipulated by hand with certain kinds of tools to create a very painterly effect, as you see here.

- Pampas Grass
I first saw pampas grass when we moved to New Orleans when I was a child. I have loved its soft, feathery, luminous plumes ever since. They abound in our neighborhood where these are aglow with the late afternoon sun.
